The nerves before the trip

I'm starting this blog because Mr Lam - and then IAP logs - and then NYP - made us do it >_That aside, I'm going to be blogging here about stuff that goes on in DigiPen.

Uh, why? Big deal much? YES.

Because this DigiPen is not the one at Buona Vista. We're going to their HQ.

♫♫♫ Take me home~~~ country mama~~~ West Virginia(?)~~~ (gets shot) ♫♫♫

Random rant goes below.

Anyway, I'm like somewhat nervous/worried/etc right now. No, these nerves are completely fine!
It happened too before I made the trip to Tokyo for TGS last year, and it will happen for every long trip I make in my lifetime (I guess?)

I was thinking about the WiFi at our apartment, and I started to really go ape insane.
I don't want no WiFi, I want my LAN cabling. WiFi is as stable as air, so, yea right no way that's going to end well for my gaming. >_>

So what I gonna do? I bring my splitter over to the US of A so everyone can share it. Just in case it's not the case where a room has multiple LAN jacks in the wall (well this isn't a lab in NYP, duh...)

I just hope Jun Wei don't come after me for DotA everyday, lord I **************** that game (irrationally!)

Hopefully maybe can connect to NA servers for BFBC2 instead? XD I wonder how bad their public servers are, as though the Singaporean ones aren't already bad enough. =x

On another note...

A Sony Handycam should come in handy for this trip. But the reso for this cheapskate Mustafa Center one my Dad got seems to be... uh, I think it has 480p or 720p amazingly? LOL.

Gonna bring it, though I wonder if I would do good to get a tripod later from the Sony official store. =/

About Digipen...

I actually still have no idea what to make, seeing as my strongest idea ended up in Portfolio Project already. I've been thinking of puzzle games, but I wonder what kinda puzzle game would attract people now? Popcap's taken a lot and done it already (Chuzzle, Bejeweled, PvZ etc) Skill-based is your usual TPS or FPS but that's overdone already, and I don't think that's good either.

Argh! I can't think of nothing at all! *sad*

Ah well, let's see what I can learn at DigiPen ^^;
